Print In Action festival - a quick round up!

We've just spent the weekend at Ocean Studios in Plymouth for the Print In Action festival. A celebration of all things print, hosted by Real Ideas organisation. It brought together printmakers from all over the South West, showcasing the different styles of print, encouraging collaboration and allowing people to get stuck in and have a go!

For us it was a great opportunity to meet many Hunt The Moon customers face to face, to see their artwork first hand and of course, a chance to show off our range of screen printing supplies - including the instantly popular metallic ink range!

There were so many highlights over the weekend, including catching up with long time friend Sue Lewry and their EPIC little print station - all inspired from one of our A5 screens back in the day! If you don't follow Sue on Instagram, you should: @colosal_by_suelewry

There were so many opportunities to get involved, from yoga printing (think twister with ink!), giant linocut, letterpress, mono printing, printing patches and of course, screen printing! To top off Saturdays activities local legends of a band, Mad Dog Mcrea, took to the stage and closed out the days festivities in fine fashion.

There were so many great artists exhibiting throughout the weekend and it was a real treat to see so many of those artists using Hunt The Moon inks and supplies for their work.

We might have only just returned to the office, we're already looking forwards to next years event 🙌
